Room Shinkoku Maru
This 10,000 ton tanker was built in 1940 and visited the US pre
war. She arrived at Chuck Lagoon three days before the US air attack
of 17th February 1944. She was sunk by planes from the Yorktown.
Swiming into these wrecks is a somewhat scarey activity, even with
a great local guide, mine was called Rio, and was a great diver |
